I have been into genealogy since 1988, researching family names for my first child.
Genealogy is one of the few things that really fascinates me.
One thing lead to another and now I'm here on findagrave, hoping to get photos of my ancestors headstones and help others get the same.
I take pride in my photos and I have deep respect for our deceased loved ones. I will trim/cut the grass and clean the marker/tombstone, WITH MUCH CARE, before taking a photo.
It is the right thing to do.
I am willing to rephotograph any grave by request.
Sometimes I will be at a cemetery and, for no reason except for respect for the souls there and their family members, I will clean and photograph a grave.
I do this for the relatives of the deceased and nobody needs my permission to copy my photos of "their" relatives graves. Feel free to use my photos for your family trees and research.
