Bio

This all started for me over 10 years ago when I accidentally came across the Allshouse database on WebGED. I was curious about the stories I had heard as a kid from my parents Donald Dewitt and Helen Irene about my Grandfather, the Reverend John Clinton Veatch of Denbeau Heights out in Washington County, Pa. I didn't pursue this until about a year ago - when I obtained my Dad's WWII DD214 discharge papers from Washington County Courthouse. I have since had all of his medals replaced - things that disappear over time.

I have met so many folks here that have the kindness in their hearts to walk cemeteries and take some wonderful photos - and even share their knowledge of people from "our" past. These are little glimpses of what those peoples lives were like. I am thankful for all of those contributions.

If there's anything I can do to help another, just let me know.
