I see what you have done...you have two Find A Grave Memorials for the same man. You have the correct death date but the wrong birth. The two find a graves are:
I thought you were showing father and son. The correct information is:
Jonathan Holmes born 3 January 1755 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts; died 16 October 1836. Jonathan is my 3rd Great Grandfather.
He married Mercy Churchill and he is the son of Job Holmes and Mehitable Stewart. His father Job Holmes is buried in the Shepards field Cemetery, Oxford County, Maine:
Find A Grave Memorial# 56980952. It is not known where Mehitable was buried. So many of the cemeteries in this area are decaying from the harsh weather.
Jonathan's wife Mercy "Churchill" Holmes is:Find A Grave Memorial# 36194834 This is in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Turner, Maine

According to the History of Paris Maine to 1880 Jonathan was born 26 Sept 1794.
FROM THE HISTORY OF PARIS MAINE TO 1880 IT SAYS: " JONATHAN HOLMES WAS B. IN OXFORD, SEPT 26, 1794, AND WENT WITH HIS PARENTS TO HARTFORD WHEN FOUR YEARS OLD. HIS PARENTS WERE OF PLYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS AND ALSO RELATIVES OF CAPT. JAMES HOLMES. HE MARRIED MAHALA REED, A SISTER OF THE WIFE OF COL. WILLIAM SWEET. THEY WERE MARRIED JUNE 1, 1816. LATE IN LIFE HE CAME TO PARIS WITH HIS TWO SONS, WHO SETTLED IN THE BOLSTER NEIGHBORHOOD. CHILDREN I. SULLIVAN R. BORN JUNE 1818 M ADDIE ROBBINS; II. MERCY BORN AUG 13, 1820, MARRIED NELSON RICH, S. BELFAST. III. LEWIS ATWOOD, BORN MARCH 9, 1823, DIED MAY 16, 1826; IV. BRADFORD R. BORN AUGUST 1, 1825, MARRIED ELIZABETH FORD; V. THIS SOURCE INDICATES THAT JONATHAN DIED ON 11 OCT 1836.
