RE: Gordon W. Porter - memorial # 121154142 Thank you for transferring Gordon Porter's memorial to me. I have linked him with his wife's memorial J. Arline Jacobs # 121154696. Gordon and Jennie were married Oct. 16, 1912 in Boston, MA.
Cemetery Maps question? Hello Fellow Contributor, I wonder if you could help me. Since you seem to have vast experience doing this. I am having trouble accessing the actual cemetery maps. To enable one to actually locate the grave in the cemetery. I am just getting back to taking photos for people. And I remember I used to be able to access a map in the cemeteries to show where the plots were. But when I choose the map icon it takes me to a blank map screen. Confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Laury Baty King City, Ca
Bernice Elsemore photo Thank you Sally for the above photo. You helped clarify the death date. I submitted a correction to the memorial creator. I don't know if you noticed, but the same photo got posted twice, probably a system burp. Kind regards and thanks again!
RE: Josephine Demars Wentworth Thank you. It is so easy to do especially when last names are spelled in so many ways. My great grandmother was a Demers and in her family of siblings alone I have found Demers, Demars, and Demarse.
Midcoast Maine Re: Sally Sally I want to thank you very much for the photo of Valnecia Sproul's grave that you posted here at find a grave. It was as I thought ... the name on the headstone is correct Valnecia not Valencia lol! I see that a lot and I think sometimes it is because it is difficult to read someone's handwriting. As most records were kept by hand then you see a lot of quirky things. I know every name on the stone too! Oddly enough I don't know how Leolea died. I do know how Val died and my great grandmother Margaret died a year or two before I was born. Strange that they died the same year.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Peggy
If anyone needs photos in the Millinocket area I am willing to grave hunt :)
Mary A Pushard Hi, Doing research on my 3X great grandmother Mary Anne Oliver Pushard and discovered your memorial and another. Your #116289561. The other memorial has a bio and pictures #91867389. Wondered if you would want to delete yours. Thanks for all your hard work! I've seen tons of memorials that you've created! Karen
