Find A Grave combined with my grandmother's memories, RootsWeb, and Ancestry.com, has enabled me to trace my maternal family tree back to Germany in the late 1400's! Now I just need to organize all the papers that seem to have built up out of nowhere and start gathering details about the people whose names I now know.
