Bio

I'm originally from Sagamore, Pa. After the Military, Indiana, Pa. became my home. I spent 24 yrs. in the coal mines until they went under, then ten yrs as a truck driver and two yrs as a security guard. I research the Hill, Dwyer and Brady families that are my tree. My grandmother Hill was a Brady that's why I'm interested in that branch of the family. My mother was a Dwyer and I'm a Hill.
I've been researching our Hill family seriously for 12-15 yrs, but have always been interested in our family history. Back in the day, all we had were scrapes of paper and writing letters to get information, but with the internet, the skies the limit as to what you may or may not find out.
My feelings about discovering things about our ancestors are, you have to take the good with the bad. You may not like the things that you find or you may be amazed and thrilled.
I am very fortunate that I still live in the area that my ancestors lived in and I can readily visit burial sites (weather permitting) and try finding information.
