I am a late comer to the "Find a grave", and several people have been very generous in sharing their sites. I have been researching both sides of my family and both sides of my husband's family for many years, along with collateral lines. I have had the good fortune to be the recipient of old pictures, newspaper articles, and old obituaries. Very few of the obituaries were marked with the name of the newspaper they were printed in, but much of the information they contained was invaluable. Even though I have printed a number of family books the "Find a grave", site seemed a great place to insure that our ancestor's memory would be preserved.
