Bio

As a Wrentham, Massachusetts resident, I am concerned with preserving the information on gravestones everywhere.
I participated in the mid 1990's in transcribing inscriptions from all gravestones in the Sheldonville Cemetery; the late Joe MacDougald photographed the stones. Unfortunately, the photos languished away in a shoe box until earlier this year. By the time a group of local folks starting reviewing the photos, we found that many had already been added to FAG. Now, we are comparing old and new photos to add the most legible one to the memorial. In all instances, we would like to have the complete inscription and the plot location shown on the memorial page.

My own family has roots in West Virginia, and I also contribute to cemeteries there.
