I was born Mary Lynne Bivins. My father is Lamar W. Bivins, son of John Bivins and Cynthia E. McMahan. The Bivins name is not very common. My grandmother told me that the Bivins family was from Ireland and she was Cherokee Indian and to be proud of it. I always have been.
