I comb the death records for lost persons buried in unmarked graves at cemeteries as well as photograph memorials in undocumented cemeteries. My hope is that families will be better connected with loved ones passed.

No one deserves to be lost and forgotten by future generations, who yearn to find their roots.

Now that being said....most memorial's I find are 'lost'...either only found in records and unmarked...or in cemeteries that have not yet been put on-line....Like Texas State Hospital Cemeteries....or German Pioneers in South Central Texas where I reside in the winter or the Native American Cemeteries on the Nez Perce Indian reservation in Idaho where I reside in the summer.

It is about the hunt, and about the exploration and connection throughout the generations by documentation.

I don't get a lot of 'hits' So I find it gratifying when a relative finds a lost family member...and as time allows, I go back and search records and post findings on their memorials...census, death certificates, family connections and such...
