Bio

I got into genealogy while researching my family tree and that of my wife. I realized that I didn’t have a clear picture of how some of my distant cousins and I were actually related until I started generating the Family trees.

I discovered FindAGrave.com and found that it is a great way to memorialize those that have passed on. FindAGrave is one of my favorite websites, it’s full of information and history that you just can’t find anywhere else.

My philosophy regarding memorials on Findagrave is that these memorials represent people… they were more than names and dates on a stone. I try to include information on their lives and families and, wherever possible, I like to include a picture of the person.

I’m interested in military history, mostly WWII and the Vietnam War. I’ve created virtual cemeteries for the Vietnam War casualties that were from the areas where I’ve mostly lived… Waterbury, CT and Charlottesville, VA. If I’ve missed anyone, please let me know.

I’m particularly interested in making family connections wherever possible. Linking the parents, spouses and children of the people memorialized wherever I can. I’m also not shy about suggesting corrections whenever I see an error or discover information missing from someone else’s memorials… I try to be as complete and accurate as possible, but if you see an error in one of my memorials, by all means, let me know. Please use the EDIT button on the top right of the memorial page when you want to send a correction, since it provides me with the links I need. Please verify and double check your info for accuracy.

If you have additional information (burial locations, dates, obituaries, etc) for any of the memorials that I’ve created, please feel free to share it with me and I’ll be more than happy to add it to the memorial. Please feel free to add pictures of the person or their tombstone to the memorials.

If you would like a transfer, simply ask and please tell me your relationship. I have no problem transferring to anyone that has a closer relationship than I do. I am not related to most, so if you are family, please don't hesitate to request a transfer.

Thanks,

Mark
