Bio

U. S. Navy Naval Security Group , University of Delaware Graduate, Union President, Retired.
Inquisitive, rational-thinking, weekend Motorcyclist!
I've found that my most of my direct line of relatives (Logan) did not stay in the area where I was born, (Abington, PA) but that many left 160 years ago to "Go West" to the Ohio frontier and beyond, throwing a curve into my search for ancestors! Fortunately, my maternal line has stayed in Delmarva, after beginning our American experience at the very beginning of the first successful English Colony in America, Jamestown, Virginia. This forum actually helped answer questions and fill gaps for me by giving correct dates and names as well as who was buried where....and with or within proximity of whom!
Amazing journey through time and places with genealogy searches, makes one wonder what it all means? Walks in search of monuments to photograph causes one to reflect on their own chosen path, and how it will in turn, affect the lives of one's own descendents. It certainly shows that one's decisions can have far-reaching effects, and life should be lived fully, every day.
Thank You to All who help me find answers, and I hope to be able to help all who desire it.
