I was born in Forestville, Maryland. I lived there until August of 1949 when I moved to the Panama Canal Zone where I lived until I graduated from high school. I came to North Carolina to attend college, met my future husband, and lived in N.C. until 1975 when my husband was transferred to Chattanooga, TN where we still live. My mother's family was from Chatham County, NC as is my husbands family so N.C. is my main genealogical interest.
