Through setting up my family tree on Ancestry.com, I discovered Find a Grave. I have taken DNA tests from Ancestry and from 23andme and have uploaded the results to FTDNA and Gedmatch in order to connect with unknown relatives and to learn more about my ancestors.

From doing research, I have also discovered my ancestors were some of the founding fathers of our country and other American heroes, which is very exciting to me. My direct line surnames are Hammond, Pinson, Wright, Windham, Powell, Gavin, Murdock, Hamilton, Chiles, Brown, Pilcher, Gibson, Wiggins, Cook, Martin, Bradford, Hornsby, Hightower, Steele, Dobyns, Taverner, Hildebrand, Castleberry, Woodham, Blocker, Loftin, Kirksey, Goodson, Tidmarsh, Stedman, Rambo, and many more.
