Bio

I have been doing family history research with my husband Alan since the early 1990's. Now retired, I am finding more more time to get my research moved from a zillion notes into computer formats. When I ran across Find A Grave I was delighted. I see it as a way to document what I have, learn new things, and to connect with relations I don't know.

The most prominent names in my tree are:

Petrie (my maiden name) in Walworth County Wisconsin, tracking back to New York and the Petries of the Mohawk Valley. Also Olp, Gott and Holcomb

Weeks - in Walworth County Wisconsin, also tracking back to upstate New York. Also Russell and Booth

Jones (my mother's maiden name) There are more than one Jones lines in my tree, most recent are in Walworth and Jefferson counties Wisconsin, tracking back to far upstate New York

Worrell/Werrell - my Irish connection from Buffalo County Wisconsin that immigrated 1845-1850. Also Kelly and Conley. I have done quite a bit of research in Ireland on the Worrell and Kelly connections
