Bio

I grew up in East Texas, in Rains County but moved to the city after I graduated from high school. I was the 4th child born to my Dad and the 1st born to my Mother. There were 6 children and most of the time my mother was the only adult around. Dad worked all of the time.

I not only enjoy but feel it is important to remember our past as well as look forward to our future. Without our past, we are nothing, in my opinion. I got interested in Find A Grave and my genealogy after so many people in my family passed away. Oh, how I wish I would have talked to my grandparents and great-grandparents and ask a lot of questions. So I pay tribute to those that have gone on before me and I pray that people continue to do so long after I am gone.

Please let me know of any corrections or additions that need to be made to one of my memorials.

As for transfers, I don't subscribe to the four-generation rule. If I have added a memorial for one of your relatives or friends and you would like to manage it, please let me know and I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you.

If there is anything I can do to help anyone, I will certainly try. God Bless!
