Bio

I have always wanted to research my family and now with all the online tools - well - there is no longer an excuse. I have started on that journey and I am now bitten by the genealogy bug. I currently reside in Virginia and both my maternal and paternal family lines entered the country in the 1600's with a few more recent migrations(my grandmother was 2nd generation German as well as her mother). I was fortunate to have known both of my great-grandmothers well into adulthood. I am a descendent of the Mallory, Madison, Gibson, Lohr, Enroughty (Darby), and Quarles, lines of King William, Elizabeth City, Orange, Greene, Madison, and Henrico Counties. I am a humble graduate of Mary Baldwin College and the University of Virginia. I love history, hiking, nature and the mountains. I like to help people via Find A Grave to discover their past and to share information with others. I wish you best of luck in all of your endeavors and your research!
