Bio

I started using this site for the Ghoul Factor, looking to find the graves of famous people, or those who were important. Or not so much.

After being amazed at how many family graves my mom has found here, via Ancestry.com, I appreciate all the work and time people put in here helping to give loved ones a photo, information, closure. What an incredible thing to find the End Trail of a loved one and be able to be there. I started volunteering to take photos and fell in love with the stories I see as I walk the cemeteries, and the stories that have been shared with me by people making the photo requests.

"No one should ever be forgotten." When I walk by the graves that are abandoned and crumbling I think that. Then I remember I'm out there because someone didn't want to forget who it is I'm looking for. This internet thing is neat, the way it brings people together.

Thanks to all who allow me to help with photos & graphic work and share their stories in email. That's the bonus & makes it worth getting hailed on, devoured by bugs, chased by geese, bombed by nesting birds and getting lost in the middle of some back road with cows giving me dirty looks. Life is good, while we have it.
