I am the eldest son of John Welsh Jr. and Mary Angela (Hoffman) Welsh. Since the seventy's I have been interest in my family genealogy and it has becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation.

Most of my paternal ancestors immigrated from Ireland and the Black Forest area in Germany. My maternal ancestors immigrated from Alsace Lorraine, Baden area of Germany and Ireland. Some were the early pioneers of Sandusky Co, Ohio.
