Bio

I joined findagrave in conjunction with my wife, Cheryl, and my interest in researching our family histories. I became determined to see that deceased members of our families are linked together and that their biographies reflect their lives. Just recently the missing link appeared on findagrave that has allowed 23 generations to be linked together. Starting with my father in Texas, 22 grandfathers linked taking my family back nearly 800 years.

All cooperation with other members Is greatly appreciated. What each of you have done and continue to do plays a gigantic role in recording the memory of loved ones all over the world.

Cheryl's family history goes back just four generations in the US. Most descendants emigrated from Germany and Czechoslovakia. Her history includes Hein, Drahem, Duenger, Jahns, and Teffia from her dad. And from her mom, Beran, Sablatura, Martinak, Piwonka, Petra and Knezek just as a start. A majority of Cheryl's descendants are at rest in Burleson County, Texas.

My family history with the Wyatt name came to Virginia in the 1620's from England. From there the direct line branched into Kentucky around 1788 and then to Texas in the early 1890's. Other names in recent generations include Holloway, Walker, Earnest, Crider, Currie and Miller from my dad. And from my mom Wood, Ramsey, Ogletree, Burnam, Sexton, and Ferguson.

Any photos I have on the memorials are available for you to use without my permission.
