Bio

I am a blessed stay at home Mommy. I love nothing more than spending time with my friends and family, but my favorite past time is working on my family tree.

I have been actively working on my daughter's family tree for the past 4 years. But I come from a line of women researching our family. I am the 3rd active generation who took the time to document the history of our family. I feel so blessed to be a part of such a great legacy.

I am currently working on my DAR membership, which is proving to be a challenge, but I am determined to find all the proofs! I think I can, I think I can!

If I have posted photographs of my family that you would like to use, please feel free to save them. I would appreciate it if you did not repost those photos though. Thank you. Working together we will remember them.

Dear Ancestor,
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh and blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor...the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you.
