Most of my findagrave postings have a connection to the Wagner family of Mohawk Valley, New York, and Cornwall/Osnabruck, Ontario, Canada.

Primary family surname research include: Belsaigne (Bellesaigne or Belesaigne) of County Cork, Ireland; Blount of North Carolina; Brodhead of Detroit, Mich; DeLancey of Alameda, Calif. and Brooklyn, NY; Fredericks of Lycoming County, Pa.; Greaves of County Cork, Ireland, and Lancashire, England; Harvey of North Carolina; Hawley of St. Lawrence County, NY; Hudson of County Cork, Ireland; Hornibrook of County Cork, Ireland; Howard of Lycoming County, Pa/Orcacoke Island, N.C.; Koch of San Francisco, Calif.; Leycester (Leicester) of Cheshire, England, and Dublin/Cork, Ireland; Macomb of Detroit, Mich; Myers of North Carolina; Pattison of Alameda, Calif.; Wagner of St. Lawrence County, NY, Cornwall/Osnabruck, Canada, Melbourne, Australia, and Detroit, Mich; Willis of Detroit, Mich; and Zimmerman of Missouri and Alameda, Calif.

I also attempt to locate and record the graves of slaves, former slaves and their descendants who had been held by the Blount, Howard, Harvey, Myers and Credle familes of North Carolina. Locating the graves of slaves is a difficult task with many buried in unmarked graves or in black cemeteries that had been neglected for decades and, in some cases, lost. Death certificates -- when available -- are notoriously incomplete, sloppy and often inaccurate. I do my best to record their deaths and the location of their graves accurately. If I made an error, please contact me and I will make an immediate correction.

A NOTE ON PHOTOS: In my humble opinion I believe that genealogists, researchers and just the plain curious should have free access to photos, documents, newspaper obituaries and ephemera. All material posted on my contributions are available for copying. You may copy any photo that is credited to the "Rob Leicester Wagner Collection" as long as credit is given.
