Antelope Valley Genealogical Society, Inc. (AVGS), a non-profit corporation, was organized in 1976.

The AVGS has extensive information on the historic Acton, Lancaster, Mojave and Palmdale cemeteries.

We are currently adding photos and information for the Lancaster Cemetery to Find A Grave and the AVGS web site. These photos are sometimes taken under less than ideal conditions, ie. poor lighting because of clouds or a tree, under water because of rain or sprinklers, or the critters have left their 'calling cards'. Over time we intend to get good quality photos for all, but in the meantime, if one of these poor quality photos is for your relation, please contact us and we'll get a better photo.
