Military brat. Family lived near Fukuoka, Japan, May 1955 - December 1957. Military service in Air Force 1964 - 1968; assigned to Staff Weather Analysis Team, Saigon, Viet Nam, 1967 - 1968. Graduate Texas A&M 1973. Meteorologist with National Weather Service, NOAA, 1970 - 2000. IMET dispatched to wildfires 1987 - 2000. Retired with interests in photography, reading, golf and gardening. Fun thing to do: taking a hike with a dog. Married to a wonderful southern woman.
