Bio

My father's German ancestors and their extended families are buried in a number of cemeteries in the Philadelphia area. I follow the descendants of Shmidheiser, Rebmann, Mann, Wischum, Ruhland, Schaettle, Doll, as I know them in my family tree. Recently I learned that all the Rebmanns of Schönaich, Württemberg, Germany, stem from one couple. It seems there was a huge emigration over 2 generations of Rebmann cousins who came to the US, a large number to Philadelphia. I have tried to link them all here at FAG. Please let me know if you are part of this tree. I am happy to share what I have.

A few of my mother's French family, Eschallier and Morel, are buried in Allegheny county and the Philadelphia area. I am trying to link as many family members in various cemeteries and upload photos I may have. Please contact me directly if you would like more information on anyone I have here at Find A Grave. Also, if you would like to have a photo that I have posted, please write to me. I have cropped some of them and possibly can send you a fuller photo. A number of photos in the Mann family were sent to me by the late Howard Bickford of California, whose great grandmother (Caroline Mann Klam) is the other child of the immigrant couple, J. Tobias Mann and Katherine Hess Mann.

My husband's grandfather was Henry Salomon Levin, who emigrated to the US from Copenhagen, Denmark. I have followed his family here in the US.

If you are connected in a closer relation than I and would like to maintain a memorial, please let me know at my email address and reference Find A Grave.
