I have been interested in genealogy since 1979 when Alex Haley's "Roots" program was on tv. At the time I worked at a university library and my brother and I (that's my son in the photo) found the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy by William Wade Hinshaw, published by Genealogical Publishing .. and traced our family back 200+ years in one afternoon! I am now retired from a county government position. My husband and I love searching for graves and hope that we can make significant contributions to Find A Grave!
