I started researching my family in 2001 at the request of my eldest son. He asked me about some of my uncles and I was not able to give him the answers, so he purchased me the Family Tree Maker software. Today, 12 years later, I am still researching, most of the time it is for others. I am a member of a local genealogy society and teach others how to research on the internet and in our book collection.

I have used Find-a-grave to help with my research for others and now as of this week, September 2013, have became a member and will be a contributor.

I am a member of the Southern Genealogists Exchange Society of Jacksonville, Florida or best known as SGES JAX. We have members who walk the Duval County Cemeteries and transcribe them on regular intervals. I will compare our records and try to keep the data here up to date.
