In 2008 this retired senior became interested in genealogy as my husband and I had retired in an area steeped with history. We settled in a very small community near Lake Erie known as Vienna, Bayham Twp., Elgin Cty., Ontario, Canada. My gggrandfather and gggrandmother were buried in the Aylmer Cemetery, Aylmer, Elgin Cty., Ontario. I now live just a few miles north in Tillsonburg (where I grew up) as my husband is very ill and needs to be near a hospital for dialysis. Just an added note.....My wonderful husband Bill passed away 01 Jul 2014. My father's name is MITCHELL and my mother was a VAN WAGONER. There is English, Irish, Dutch, and French in my line whereas my husband is pure Hungarian. Quite a mixture....but sad to say we have no children.
