Middle daughter of Doyle and Edith Esther Faye Parker. I grew up in Grapeland, Texas with my two sisters Doylene and Linda. My grandparents were Howard and Roxie Vest, and Nora Lively Parker all of Grapeland, Texas.

I married Jimmy Giles Sr. of Palestine, Texas. We were blessed with two beautiful children: Jimmy Giles Jr. and Sherry Lynn Giles.

I attended Nursing School and enjoyed a 30 year nursing career in which I derived so much pleasure. Nursing has been the greatest and most rewarding achievement in my life besides giving birth to my two children. I have been blessed.
