My name is Walter Rean (Henderson) Lackey. The fourth child (middle daughter) of Linzie Madison Henderson and Oatie Lester (Jones) Henderson.
I had 2 older brothers, L Jay Henderson (1926-2000), and Teddie Ray Henderson (1928-2001)
I had an older sister, Mary Arlene (Henderson) Cloud, February 2, 1935---January 12, 2022.
and I have a younger sister, Oatie Katherine (Henderson) Delong.
On December 25, 1960, I married my pre-high school sweetheart , Patrick O'Brian Lackey. We were married in the Church of Christ on Hockett St in Porterville, Tulare County, California.

We have 4 children, Bobby O'Brien Lackey (July 27, 1962--May 2, 2001) and his wife Toni Dee Rodrigues Lackey
Lisa Renee (Lackey)Taylor Ruiz Green Lackey 1964
Deanna Caryn (Lackey) Elgin June 11, 1966--August 25, 2014
Raymond Lindsay Lackey 1971 and wife Veronica Hulstine Lackey

We had 10 grandchildren,
We have 32 Great-grandchildren.

While living in California, we were also licensed foster parents for the county of Tulare. This was a challenging experience.

For 25 years, I was employed by the state of California as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician at Porterville Developmental Center. Where the last 5 years I was a shift supervisor.

My husband, Patrick, was a jack of all trades. He owned and operated an electrical repair shop (tv's, radios, video cassette recorders,) as well as most all appliances. He is my life and my best friend.

We moved to Oklahoma in November 2005 after I retired from Porterville Developmental Center in Porterville, California.
