Since there are over 300 requests for photos in Sylvania Hills (and I'm told there are around 45,000 graves there), if I don't know the location of the grave in the request... at least a section... it is nearly impossible to find the grave.

I wrote a letter to Sylvania Hills asking if they would either locate these graves for me or allow me access to their records to locate them, and they were unwilling to help in any way.

If you have photo requests for Sylvania Hills, please contact the cemetery yourself (724-775-6300) and get at least the section. (Their grave numbers don't do me any good anyway, since all I have is a section map.) I'm glad to spend an hour or so, locating a grave within a section.
