|CYBERHOG||RE: John Spillers Sr.|
Thank you for the photo. The dates on John Sr.'s marker are accurate for James Spillers (father of John Spillers Sr.). James spillers is also buried in the same cemetery so I suspect the Core of Engineers got the dates mixed up for James Spillers and John Spillers Sr. I plan to visit the cemetery in the coming weeks. Thanks again for your help.

|Mary A. (Beavers) Reed||RE: Beaver / Beavers|
My great-great-great grandfather, William Beavers, was born 1797 in Loudoun County, Virginia. His son Joseph Beavers came to Kansas in 1855 and settled in Davis now Geary County.
That's the short version.
|Mary A. (Beavers) Reed||RE: English|
No, my 3d great-grandmother was a Brandenburg and I was researching Brandenburg's thru Ancestry.com when I found this. When I research families, I look at everyone including step-children. Theo Biggs English was a step-daughter of Henry Dow (grandson of Susan Brandenburg). I also try to find the graves to match to my research and link families in Find A Grave. Anyway, thanks for responding and if there's anything else I can do to help, just let me know. If I don't have the answer, I'll be glad to research it. I also noticed that Marjeana has "Beaver" ancestry. That's interesting, my maiden name is Beavers which is another family I have researched. Wonder if there's some distant relations there.:)

Where do u live now?
|Nancy Turney||Gene & Emie Varnell|
I work with Carol Varnell Starkey at Market Square Supermarket in Stigler. She has 2 sons and 1 grandson. The other sister lives in Van Buren, Ar. I've met her one time in Stigler. She has 1 daughter and I also think there is a grandchild. I will tell Carol about finding you soon.
It got to be a small world.
Have a Blessed day.

The Varnell's who are dear friends are they: Lee and JoAnn or Emmie and Gene. Gene and Lee are brothers.??
If so they are good friends of mine, also

You're welcome. Glad I could help.
|Mary A. (Beavers) Reed||English Family II|
That didn't take long. I found a James R English, father of Thomas, that died in 1891 in Pope County.
|Mary A. (Beavers) Reed||English Family in Ford Cemetery|
I was researching the Brandenburg family and found information about this family on Ancestry.
Thomas W English was married to Mary Tennessee Baker with the following children: Frank, Elvie and Lillie. Thomas then married Theo Biggs and had the following children: Lucy and Infant.
I think Mother English is Mary Tennessee Baker, Elvie and Lillie are her children. Theo English is the second wife, and the infant is hers.
I don't know about Jim English. But, I'll keep looking and let you know if I find anything.
Mary (Beavers) Reed
