I have always sort of been the family gatherer. In 1989 I initiated our semi-annual reunion and they have been going ever since.

But it wasn't until our most recent reunion that the genealogy bug bit me hard. I hate to admit it but I don't think a day has gone by in the last two months that I haven't spent at least 30 minutes doing research....many times sneaking in a few minutes before work or during my lunch hour.

I'm excited to find new information about distant relatives and encouraged by the amount of digital information available every day to make the searching much easier....however, I already feel a trip to Arkansas coming soon.
