I am a strong, confident woman and am currently in a Nursing Home. My health has deteriorated and now I need total assistance for everything (except typing with my left hand, of course). They tell me it's MS, because I physically manifest those symptoms. However, all the tests they've run on me the last 5 years indicate it's an unknown disease. Whatever I have is debilitating and I can do very little for myself. I was in the nursing home with my mom until she died (2013). I'm doing fairly well (considering) and love being in my hometown with my family (of course, not under these circumstances though).
