My Education: BA degree in Social Sciences, including Anthropology, History, Political Science and Womans Studies. I also have certifications in Labor Relations from Sacramento City College and The University of California, Davis. I was a late bloomer and went back to colloge at age 30. I was employed by the State of California for 32 years and very involved with California State Employees Local 1000, holding several elected positions as well as a position as a Labor Relations Representative.

I started my search for Family at age 12 because there was little about either side talked about and have continued the search for last 66 years. Daily for last 25 years. Family locations include Salem and James Town from 1600's; following immigration trails through the Ohio River Valley, and included Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, across the midwest and into Oregon and California. Family Names include Golden; Spilman; Dotson; Wilson; Pease; Jones; Piaggi. I have also research the Cash-Trammell, Brown family. The most exciting research I have done was a driving trip across the US (California to Massachusetts and South to Florida
(stopping at family locations Massachusetts, in New York, Gettysburg, Virginia, Fredericksburg, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and a short visit with a friend in Florida. I was 65 and on the road alone for 6 weeks, it was a great adventure. My present quest is focused on my Maternal Grandfather. His parents were Italian Swiss. I only recently found his fathers Citizenship registration card, but have had very little luck with his immigrations records.
