RE: John and Olive Faircloth
Thank you so much Kris, that would be wonderful if you would transfer Wilbur to me :) The smaller stones are all accounted for in that cemetery. The belong to Frederick and Caroline Faircloth and their children. They had a family plot all together. My Find A Grave# is 47450885. Thank you again for offering to transfer. Cheryl

RE: John and Olive Faircloth
Thank you Kris for getting a picture of their stones. I was there last year and I thought that might be their stones but I was unsure. I called the caretaker of the cemetery last year and asked if he could right the stones and he said he would do it but apparently that has not been done. Also, thank you for getting Wilbur's picture as well. He is my great great uncle :) Now the family is complete. Cheryl

A mirror-holding Hubby! You really did go the extra mile, including digging down for the rest of the inscription, and then tucking him back in again! Thanks again!

RE: David Royce & Eunes Beebe
Hi Kris

I am so glad you were able to find Eunes. I know how hard it can be to find a gravesite as we found out last Friday, searching for 2 here in Oregon.

As far as the deaths in 1785, many perished in New England in the spring and summer from a rare type of diphtheria. Also that year there was another small pox epidemic out West and North. And Scarlet fever had an increase that year.

Could have been any of the 3 above.

Thanks
G
