Born in California, I've lived east of San Francisco most of my life. I've researched my family genealogy since 2010, concentrating on my maternal ancestors as my cousin Greg is the expert on my paternal Watty (from Germany) side. I am most interested in lineage from the Smithfield, Virginia area with last names of Wilson, Bourne, Cabaniss, Drew and Boykin. Other roots are in Kansas including Stelzner, Hunger (both originally from Germany) and Boyd/Overdear family from Kansas with roots in Findlay, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
