I am researching my family history. With all the stories my father told me I wanted to find more out about my father's side of the family. When both my parents passed away I found letters from my mother's grandmother and some of the stories she told me about my mother's side of the family. So I am on a search for my family and hoping I can put my father and my mother's family back together. Daddy came from 8 children 2 who never made it pass 4 years old. The other 6 raised families and became grandparents. My mother's mother had 4 sisters and herself. One brother passed away before she was born and is buried in Indiana. My great grandmother was always searching for her father that went to the Civil War but never returned home. Whether he was killed during the war or on his way home, she never knew. So begins my love of history.
