Bio

I am a direct decendant of the Faulkner Family who were some of the first settlers in Jackson and Gallia Counties. My grandfather Thomas Jefferson Faulkner ran a grocery store in Oak Hill for many years. My brother and I have been conducting a genealogy study for years now but the Faulkner family tree is quite large but we have come a long way and have gathered a lot of information. We have traced our great great great grandfather Daniel and his wife Nancy Dunlap back to being the first white settlers in the area and their daughter to be the first white child born in Gallia County. I was lucky enough to have found and visited the "old" Faulkner Cemetery back in 1986 with the help of Billy Starcher. As we continue our search we would welcome any input as to the grave sites of any Faulkner's in the county.
Thank You,
Norman Graham
