I am doing research for my husband on his birth family. They are the Benders and Urbans of Lorain, Ohio. I've managed to get some info, but mostly on the Urban side, the Bender side is a little more difficult. I, myself am adopted as well, but given that I was born in 1971 in Cleveland, I have to wait until March of 2015 to get my original birth certificate, but by then I should be a seasoned veteran on research, hopefully :)
