I am retired and enjoy searching family histories. I live in Berrien County Michigan and am willing to search Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties for desired cemetery photos. In special circumstances and good weather I might consider a wider area.|
NOTE: I grant my permission for the use of any grave stone photos I take. If my photo disappoints, I will remove if requested through suggested edits button.
If you submit an obituary, please include the source, i.e. the newspaper with date published.
Please do not hesitate to suggest corrections. Mistakes happen to all of us. Just try to be kind about it and I will correct ASAP.
If my entries are your family/friend, please request transfer using the edit button. I am happy to oblige.
I especially try to find duplicate entries (even my own mistakes) and suggest removal of those duplicates. I believe most duplicates are unintentional.
Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs MI is my current pet project.
My biggest wish in F.A.G. is that someone will list the graves of my husband's ancestors Joseph and Betsey Jillson. Their probable birthdates would be about 1800 to 1810. They lived in the Albany, NY area.

Thank you for making the edits so quickly. I'm at "that age" too, and I really admire you for getting out and walking a cemetery, it's challenging. Would have been a lot easier a couple of decades ago! I think all you need to do on the photo is move it from one memorial to the other, just download the one at # 136261620 (Charles L. Price) to your computer, and then upload to # 24598430 (Benjamin Price). Then go back and delete the one posted to # 136261620. That's got to be a lot easier than searching for the photo. Anyway's that's what I would do. Thanks again Kathy, for photographing this cemetery. It's a wonderful contribution. Blessings!

Kathy, thank you so much for the lovely photo of Sarah and Charles' headstone. I've checked back at findagrave several times over the past few years to see if anyone had posted her here... and here she is! It was a pleasant surprise, thank you! I submitted some edit requests for her, but those all through the automated system so won't get into details here. So glad you found her. :)

Thank you, I appreciate you going out of your way to do so.

Hi Kathy, would you be willing to transfer management of the memorials for Herman (Memorial #138409648) and Elsie Schultz (Memorial #138409614)? Herman is my great grandfather and Elsie his second wife. The memorial for Herman is also a duplicate (I have another for him under Harry, which is the name he went by and the name on his headstone).

Thank you for the clarification. I was hoping her husband would be listed as buried here, too, but he died 15 years earlier so maybe not. Thanks for your help.

You have a note with the entry for Agnes Marie Pletcher Memorial# 133730332 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs, Michigan indicating that there might not be a gravestone. Wondering where the information for her burial came from. Do you think it is possible that she is not buried there?
Dates are just off from what I have:
b. 23Oct1882 Terre Haute, Vigo, Indiana
d. 01Apr1965 Berrien, Berrien, Michigan
Any clarification would be helpful to me.

I would greatly appreciate close up picks of the soldiers monument at Rose Hill Cemetery outside of Berrien Springs. The monument contains the names of Union soldiers associated with my family: C H Davidson (Calvin Hewitt Davidson) Alonzo Sischo, and John Treadwell. Davidson was my g g grandfather. Sischo was one of his brothers-in-law, and John was one of his son-in-laws. I am on the Big Island of Hawaii...so I don't get to your part of the country very often.

Thank you for the photo for Will Augustus Dolph and his wife Guneheld Elizabeth Gard Dolph. The wider shot brings hope of finding his parents buried there also. Clara M Dolph in the back ground is his sister who died at 9 years old. Thanks for your help very appreciated.
Sincerely, Sherry Paul Duty
