Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired and enjoy searching family histories. I live in Berrien County Michigan and am willing to search Berrien and Van Buren counties for desired cemetery photos. In special circumstances and good weather I might consider a wider area.

NOTE: I grant my permission for the use of any grave stone photos I take. If my photo disappoints, I will remove if requested through suggested edits button.

If you submit an obituary, please include the source, i.e. the newspaper with date published.

Please do not hesitate to suggest corrections. Mistakes happen to all of us. Just try to be kind about it and I will correct ASAP.

If my entries are your family, please request transfer using the edit button.

I especially try to find duplicate entries (even my own mistakes) and suggest removal of those duplicates.

Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs MI is my current pet project.

RE: Agnes Kohr 123033701
I had a Great Great and the family story was that she said I'll spell my name anyway I want when ever I want to spell it that way----Hane, Hain, Hayne, Haines, Haynes, Hanes, and she did. I'm not yet sure about Kohr but it's not an unusual name in this area. I'll see what I can find.

Henry Wiest
This guy was one of 20 kids! Wonder what that was like? But the Wiest that is thought to have had the most kids had 25 to four different wives!

RE: Henry Wiest 130953964
According to a book put together some years ago, Henry born 3 Jun 1863 son of Moses and Maria Schedel left Klingerstown, Pa. and ended up in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He took his wife Agnes Arbogast with him. She was born 3 Apr 1860. They were still living when book written so death date and place not listed. The had a son Daniel Joseph Wiest born 25 Jan 1884. I'm satisfied that this is Henry Schadel Wiest.
