I have always had and interest in my grandmother Erwin's family history. As a small child I would ask her to tell me about her family. I remember going with her to visit her parents grave as well as other grave sites. When I was about nine, the Erwin family had a family reunion when at Irvine's Fish Camp on Lake Greenwood. I always found it interesting that out of her eight siblings there was three spellings of Erwin, Ervin, and Irvine.

I first joined Find A Grave in 2014, but had little time to participate. After losing my mother last year I have a renewed interest in leaving as much information for my children and possibly help others along the way.
