My mom and grandma get the credit for introducing me to strolling through cemeteries, reading names on headstones, finding lost loved ones, and just appreciating each day.

I enjoy completing photo requests/retakes around our area and will submit edit requests for any discrepancies I find between the headstone and FindAGrave information. Lately, I have been transcribing photos as well.

On the subject of family headstones for genealogical research, I am interested in the Churchill's from around Washington County, Iowa and the Randolph's from Sallisaw, OK. Other surnames: McKinstry, McClendon, Young, Monroe, and anything about Arthur Messick born in September of 1921.

I highly recommend looking into FamilySearch.org. This site really sparked my interest in locating family gravestones. It is a wealth of information and allows you to build your family tree. It is sponsored by the LDS Church and is free of charge to all.

Many of my ancestors are from England so freereg2.freereg.org.uk/ has been invaluable in detailing parish records of christenings, marriages, and burials.

I am an educator by profession so I love learning. Please let me know if I might have missed something or if there is a better way to do something, in accordance to FindAGrave guidelines.

Peace be with you!
Jennifer
