Bio

My parents were John and Emma Hoshor Scowden. I had no siblings. When first married we lived on the farm my husband's ancestors had come to in 1847 from Luray, VA. The family cemetery on the farm and a box of circa Civil War letters started my interest in genealogy. The cemetery in northwest Missouri is often visited by out of state relatives. I also have extensive records of the Hoshor and Scowden families.
