Bio

I started Find a grave over 7 yrs ago and it has become a passion. I don't get to contribute a lot of images. But I do my best to provide factual information.. I edit most memorials with factual information that is provided.

The Lost Children Project:
What is the Lost Children Project?

While researching and digging through death certificates I noticed so many babies and children that had passed. I attempted to locate memorials on F.A.G.; and most children were not located. This hits home because in 1972 my parents lost a child to SIDS. They laid baby John to rest and a marker was never purchased. In my mind John is lost. Anyone entering the cemetery has no clue that John exist in that cemetery. So as I research, I pull the death certificates, research the parents on said certificate and make memorials for all the beautiful children Gone To Soon... Thus the creation of The Lost Children Project. I also created a virtual cemetery (VC) for the parents to make researching easier and added a VC for the other family members related to the lost children... I hope to continue too add more and more memorials so these lost children can be remembered.. I hope you all well and thanks for visiting.

NEW EDIT PROCESS

Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits! Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.

/To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.

Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!

The exception: Requesting a transfer other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email.
