I have been researching family history for about 50 years. A high school instructor suggested it would help students discover who they are. This led me to develop confidence and a love of history. For the most part I am a self taught historian, persistent and detailed, and I have been able to find people others could not.

I am now retired and I continue to research family history for family and friends. I also look for old photos and bibles with names. I research those people and their families, and I expect to spend more time traveling to find their graves, take pictures, and list them on "Find A Grave".
