My great grandmother was Anne Victoria Kite who was the daughter of Noah and Isabella Kite who perished with 4 of their other children in the 1870 flood in Page Co. Va. Anne married James Osborn Clore and bore 4 children one of which was my grandmother Eva Christian Clore. Eva married John Walter Kite (son of Siram Kite) who is descended from George William Kite another child who escaped the flood of 1870. Eva and Walter had my father William Randolph Kite and my aunt Evelyn G. Kite.
