I grew up in Newbury, descended from first settlers of Newbury and coming from a long line of genealogy researchers and Newbury town historians. I am currently the Registrar for the Sons & Daughters of the First Settlers of Newbury, and enjoy helping other folks in their search for their ancestors. I am so lucky to live in one of the original settlement areas of New England, and enjoy walking through the local cemeteries because they are so full of information and history. It recently occurred to me that I could be sharing that information with others, and that is when I started adding to Findagrave.
I would be happy to transfer management to someone if a particular memorial is for their ancestor, and not my own.
