I was born at the old Independence Sanitarium & Hospital on Truman Road, and raised in Independence, Missouri. President Harry S Truman lived not far from our family home. Once President Truman threw an apple to me!!!

My younger sister, Ramona Douglass-Renfro and I, are following family history information passed on to us from our brother, Pastor Darrel Wayne Douglass. We have taken a big interest in genealogy and Find A Grave.

We are extremely new to this process and do not mean to step on anyone's toes.

Our main interest right now is to locate and maintain as many Find A Grave memorials of our family members as possible.

This is exciting...like a big treasure trove of lost loved ones coming together for a big family reunion of sorts.
