Bio

I have been interested in genealogy for the past 30+ years. I have always believed a name and dates are very important but a FACE is even more precious for it tells a story about the person and you become more connected.

Sometimes we do not have a face to go along with a name then the headstone becomes important for sometimes that tells a story.

Both my parents were deaf and lived their childhood until young adults in a state run institution for the deaf. My Mother told me little stories about her family and still she did not know ALL the connections of her family. My Father knew next to nothing about his family. In 1999 I published a book titled "Famille De Thibodeau" and thru my discovery of the Thibodeau(x)'s I learned so much of my Dad's ancestors. I only regret that he died in 1968 never knowing his "roots".

It's important that we teach the younger generations about their "roots". I have been sharing with my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren little vignettes of life of their ancestors and of Me and their Poppa.
