Bio

I got hooked on the history of my family and enjoy running down the rabbit trails to find lost information on family connections. I spent hours and days at Court Houses and Libraries, researching our pioneer roots in Walla Walla, Wash., and Boise, Idaho. I believe family photos, documents and research should be shared and will do my part to share as much I can. Through this endeavor I have read much of our pioneer history here in the Northwest and never cease to marvel at the stamina, willingness to move, and contributions our pioneers made. With the exception of the Native Americans, we were all immigrants at one time and were offered an opportunity to exceed at whatever occupation was chosen, rising from apple pickers to apple orchard owners.

My personal vocation included communication, writing and photography. Now retired, I get to direct those skills to my passion, family research.

Happy hunting!
